In
everyone’s mind there are two entirely different classes of thoughts:
there
are thoughts about things that exist outside the mind,
and
thoughts about things that have no existence outside the mind;
the
natural born mind is not equipped to make this distinction permanently,
and
while this is man’s normal mental condition,
it
is also the single source of all his non physically based conflicts.
Men
do not actually argue and fight over religion,
but
do so because their minds fail to make the distinction just noted, (same
be true regarding political, social, economic and artistic models and philosophies).
No
matter how diverse may seem the subjects to ordinary perception,
every
single thing any man can think about falls clearly and unquestionably into
one of these two categories:
the
thing being thought about and talked about either exists
outside
the human mind or else it exists no where but in the human mind,
and
if your determination is to clear your head & get to the real bottom
of things, do not let the simplicity of this lead you to ignore it;
the
private pay off of you personally realizing -- in a single
gulp –
its
full ramifications is guaranteed, astounding and breath taking.
Merely
nodding your head and agreeing with the words will not do it;
you
have to roll it around in your own mind -- looking for it constantly
–
chewing
on it relentlessly, then one day -- Blam!
– its reality will knock you down.
All
of the confusion, heartburn and seeming insanity of human life
instantly
vanishes, and the reason for it all is instantly obvious:
men’s
minds have two entirely different types of thoughts:
some
thoughts that are about things that physically exist outside the mind thinking
about them, and other thoughts about things which
have
no physical reality and exist only in men’s minds;
men’s
minds consist entirely of these two types of totally different thoughts
--
yet
their minds make no consistent distinction between them,
and
this alone is the fuel for every disagreement, doubt, and criticism
experienced
by human beings.
It
can be put in other verbal garb, and the matter can be discussed for eternity
-- but that is it -- put about as simply as possible,
and
you either finally see it & get it or you do not,
and
few, few, few are the minds born to this world able to ever do so;
once
you personally get-it, it is simultaneously clear why things are
not arranged for more people to get-it:
doing
so would run against the prevailing grain of man’s cultural,
second
reality evolution;
being
able to make the continual distinction between the two
entirely
different types of thoughts would be counterproductive to
the
many non survival dictated activities that make up such a large part of
ordinary
men’s lives.
Simply
put: widespread, consistent realization
of the distinction
would
equal the collapse of civilization --
the
loss of everything man has so wondrously achieved.
Ergo:
to play his rightful role as a thoughtful, concerned member of the human
race, a man should not make any abiding distinction between thoughts
about things that exist outside the mind and those which exist only there;
you
cannot be permanently aware of this absolute division,
and
lead a normal, mental life.
It is time to choose, citizens: which will it be? Whose side are you on?
