NEWS,
NOMINALLY FROM THE ORB
YOU NORMALLY OCCUPY
_______________
Mind sees no role models as does
the body in athletes;
(more precisely): potentially
real
minds see no role models,
for those minds which have previously
achieved real minds’ goal do not of it afterwards speak;
thus each newly born latent
real mind is ultimately -- on its own.
(There is but one possible downside
to this situation: not realizing it.)
It is possible to see what is
going on,
but difficult to see why you
should not put it in words;
when you do --
a portion of your sight flees.
The father said to the son: “You
would expect that a man with a
growing grasp of unadorned reality
would at least privately chuckle
at tales of unsophisticated
travelers stopping to pile stones
at the end of a bridge they
just crossed in an attempt to keep evil forces from following them,
but in truth, such is an example
of an extremely cheap way by which ordinary men can feel that they have
at least tried to physically,
‘do-something’
that could improve their position
in life,
at no expense and very little
effort.
Another instance
of something that is ridiculous & useless -- and also,
ridiculous & a bargain.
Life my boy,
is composed of: tiger claws
& angel hair;
both are
requisite & those-in-the-know can interchange them.”
On one world: state of mind =
state of metabolism.
..................(Thank god
we don't live there, huh?!
......But it could be even worse;
theatres on an ajoining planet show
previews of past attractions that are produced by the pancreas!)
A man’s friend said to him: “The
reason you don’t enjoy movies is that
you will not, ‘suspend belief,'”
to which he replied:
“Hell, I have to do that most
of the time that I’m looking at reality."
There are three great curses:
not knowing; not knowing what it is that you do not know, and third: thinking
that you do know.
(There is an even worse, fourth
curse which afflicts those who
dispute the first three...................
[and who live with idiots].)
Any, I-have-a-reasonably-good-grip-on-reality
person is beyond hallucinating in their own life, (seeing the ghost of
Goethe living
in their potting shed), but
it is much rarer to not hallucinate in
other people’s lives (viz: believing
that their ideas are hallucinations: illusions rather than reality).
Love and likes&dislikes
are two different things;
one is hormonal; one is neural;
one accomplishes something
-- the other does not.
Anyone who offers to tell you
what is wrong with you
has as much wrong with them
as you do -- plus 27%.
One guy says: “Forget about crop
circles & faces on Mars;
what could be weirder than being
alive & able to think about
it!”
One man says that he would feel
a whole lot better
if the older brain stem parts
didn’t stick so far up into his head.
Everyone who wants to awaken
is an unwitting spy for
an unknown agency
-- (even the agency doesn’t know who it is).
Anyone who, talks-about-it -- doesn’t know about it.
One man asks:
“Where did our brain get its
monopoly on calling it self, our
self?”
Everyone hears intriguing music,
playing faintly in the background,
but unless you focus on it and
try to amplify it,
it does not become a notable
part of your life.
If you laugh all the time, you can’t sleep.
The son said to the father: “Why
do most people not like what you say? Is it because you are right
and they are wrong?”
“No,”
he replied, “Quite the opposite."
If you watch all the time, you can’t be blind.
There is a way to think about
thinking that gives ordinary thinking the jumpin’
heebie jeebies -- and profitably so!
Most people are too normal to ever see what is going on, and most of those who want to see are not normal enough to ever do so.
If you stare -- you never see bare.
.......(Everything looks all dolled up.)
There is little difference between
being crazy & being awake,
but even less between
being crazy & being ordinary.
Trying to act on matters in the
second reality
requires that ye be partially
mad;
thinking about it, at most,
sufficeth the wise.
Fate may irritate the
dreamer-thinker,
but will not torture him
unless he attempts to take action
on the apparitions.
Life knows what’s going on -- you don’t.

The world is full of stories -- you're one
of them.
