THE DULCET DUO GET SUNDAY WRAPPED
____________________________
Although no one can see it in
the beginning,
the main thing wrong with being
asleep & unenlightened is
the belief that something wrong
is going on.
Imaginary problems not only cannot
be solved,
but not recognizing them for
what they are
keeps you believing in what
they are not.
Many pretend to be treating
pretend ills -- but none ever succeed.
Consciousness is water
--- there are sharks:
many get entangled in trying
to classify sharks
as to their perceived quality,
or threat -- when fact is,
to water -- sharks are sharks.
That
which is real, is to body -- obvious,
while
that which is, is to mind -- suspect...............if not offensive.
One
guy’s theory is that no one is asleep -- they just pretend
to be.
To
stop pretending is to run all beastees from your door,
and scatter all spooks, ghostees & ghoulees.
It is now official: Nothing
is official.
Looking after your body but not your mind is like having comfortable shoes and wearing sheet metal socks.
Looking after your mind but not
your body is like working at McDonald’s.
Oh yeah, it is also official
that: Nothing is wrong!
(but the local authorities are
afraid to announce it
due to the panic it might cause.)
Only body can concentrate……………….or
make mind do so.
No matter your talent or desire;
you can’t paint ebony black --
oh, it can seem as though you
have done so -- even if it doesn’t show --
in the same way it can seem
you are trying to wake-up
without ever seeing any results.
The question is:
How can you tell when you graduated
from a course in Stupidity?
Or: where does the empty half
of a half filled bottle believe it is?
Or: who does a critic condemn
who lives alone;
who, (even), can a one eyed
critic even see?
A civilian asks:
“If I am starving, is not something
wrong for me?” -- yes;
“And if I am freezing, is not
something wrong in my life?” -– certainly;
“Then how can you say that nothing
is wrong in life?” --
note
that I did say so before you started talking about it.
Body
silently registers all real wrongs;
mind
only pretends to…........and when it has none -- invents them.
Generally,
talking about something is not an attempt to explain it,
but
to make it seem more important.
Consider
what this means regarding things that exist only by virtue of
them
being talked about in the first place, (to wit),
most
of what fills up most people’s lives.
(Yikes!)
To stop pretending is to stop the clock.
Silence,
both inside the castle & out -- is the knight’s
secret pavis.
After life itself, there is nothing
more truthful than the body,
and after that, there is nothing
more truthful than the mind,
and after that, there is nothing
more truthful than an individual man’s
own individual mind, (i.e.)
-- unified consciousness.
In
the world are thinkers & doers...................................and
I don’t mean groups of people.
Additional trickiness is in the
fact that when you are in the mental state of, wanting-to-wake-up,
it is like having a sickness with pains & symptoms, but when you are
actually in the state called, sleep,
nothing tells you that you are
sick & asleep.
Thus, when not asleep --
you suffer,
and when you are -- you
feel nothing.
Slick, huh?!
It is the only illness that
doesn’t make you feel ill
as long as you remain
ill.
(Slick doesn't begin to cover it.)
Another
guy says:
“To
stop pretending is to totally ruin -- being asleep!"
Although
it does not matter what you think,
it
also does not matter what you think about what you think.
One guy’s motto is: “Just
wait’ll I get my hands on you” --
which scares the shit out of
him -- you know,
having your own motto
speak to you like that!
One guy's take on it:
"Waking-up does not so
much produce a change in your relationship to life as it does your relationship
to yourself -- that is: to your brain --
which is to say: your brain’s
relationship to itself -- hell,
something like that!"
J
...and don't forget, news hounds:
if it can't be affected by a screwdriver -- it's just storytelling,
(and I don't mean the kind you
drink.....................which would certainly influence your tales.)
