                           THE WEEKEND: PART 3:
LET’S TIE THE PREVIOUS TWO PARTS TO YOUR TAIL
AND SEE YOU RUN WITH IT.

There was once a school dedicated to that Certain Aim,
its approach was called:
“The Shut Up & The Pay Attention To” method, (and more specifically): “About that which merely makes a difference --  and:
            that which actually accomplishes something.”

One guy, (beginning to feel fairly hip to what’s going on), ponders:
“The one thing I still cannot stop is me catching myself dozing,
and saying to myself: ‘My mind was out of my control again’
talking as though something other than the me speaking at that very moment was anything other than the, ‘My mind’ that I just said had been out of my control a moment ago.  How dense can you continue to be before you are declared to be a Public Wall?!”
(Did someone raise the possibility of: “Two different time zones?”

…and is anyone reminded of, The Big Goof:
the unseen blemish in men saying, “I have thoughts”
when thoughts are not things,
but things to create the illusion OF an ‘I’.)

Two things are going on: one is that we are physically manufacturing survival, and reacting to the environment ,
and two is that we are mentally reacting to our manufacturing,
and to the physical reactions noted above.

Ordinary men then believe two things:
that consciousness makes health, and conditions make the man,
while those-who’ve-broken-through
know them both to be the other way around.

The conscious part of the brain monitors & analyzes conditions, both external and internal.
When working on external matters it is active,
when it is turned inward it becomes a passive medium for whatever flows thru it; only by saying, thinking “I” does it become active, and it feels different; this is why ordinary people so enjoy saying the word “I” (talking about themselves),
and this is also the basis of wanting to be awake:
to have consciousness in the active mode.

Those with greater wisdom regarding the inner,
intangible world of the mind & spirit recognize better than others that
only the physical world ultimately counts for anything.

A father said to a son: “Here is another example of how thought works:
a man asked where I get all of the stuff I talk about,
and I pointed to my head, and he shook his and said he didn’t believe me,
so I told him that I get it all from an old obscure book I found,
written by a forgotten author, and he nodded approvingly --
then believing me --
while ignoring the fact that it would still have come from someone’s head -
--  but --  his thought about the matter was satisfied.”

‘Twas previously noted that wanting to wake up is
wanting more from thought than it has to give,
but might not the question be:
Does thought actually have anything to give?

Here's what do:
Compare the life you lead-in-your-thoughts
to the one you physically do.

Look at your physical life with the sound off
and compare it with your thought life;
note the lack of similarity; ponder this & come to your senses.

Man may be asleep in one time & wanting to awaken in another.
You may be drowning in overlooking the difference between
something that accomplishes something,
and something that merely means something……………………to you.

There is a realm that accomplishes something, and a realm that means something,
and the closest thing there is in that one to something that accomplishes anything is:
                                                                                        the realization of this statement.
