                    IT'S 10 AM SATURDAY MORNING;
         DO YOU KNOW WHERE
YOUR LITTLE MAN IS?

                      ________________________________________

A son asked the father: “When it comes to doing This Thing:
does anyone really know what they are doing?”
  “Only when they have finally gotten close to succeeding.”

The FreeWheelers: 5;  The Azusa Latitude Stretchers: 14.

A son asked the father: “Does anyone ever actually do any better at doing This Thing than, ‘get close to succeeding?'”
   “What a tacky thing to say!"

The difference between the rest of the world,
and a man who knows-what-is-going-on is that

his brain will think about everything except the one thing he wants it to.

                                DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DOG

            Unruly is one;  dachshunds-don’t-herd is another.

Being asleep & unenlightened is not a state or condition,
but rather is a state of being unaware of your condition –
-- which is one of not knowing what is going on while pretending that you do.

Being asleep is not as much being a dunce as it is in not realizing that you are one,
(in mental understanding...since
everyone understands everything about

the physical side of life quite well, thank you!)

If you are ordinary,
being asleep is a particular mental condition in which you must live, wherein
you are not aware that ordinary men must live in a particular mental condition.
  (Early myths & histories tell of man being commonly visited by spirits,
but they were not supernatural beings, they were his initial thoughts.)

A son asked a father:
“What is the funniest thing you have ever heard a human say?”
    “I heard a man refer to, HIS mind.”
“But you’ve said that.”
    ”Yeah, I know --   I’m an idiot.”

Being asleep & confused is a matter of inner residence:
it is living one door down from yourself.

Seeing a book at his friend’s house entitled:
“The Complete Idiot’s Guide To The Mind” a visitor pointed to it & said:

”I’ll bet it has helped you better understand yourself,”
and looking at the speaker in disbelief the man replied:

     “No, it is just about other people’s minds.”

The difference between all things can be -- measured in words;
in fact that is the only way it can BE done.

”Since everyone is confused & mistaken,
no one is able to realize that they are” said the father to the son,
    “But would not that also mean that no one IS confused & mistaken?”
“Yes, that too.”

Even an awake man doesn’t know anything about awakening --
until he is asked;
then if he takes a nap, he can say something about it.

As long as he stood in one place, this one guy’d feel real good (okay); but then he’d get distracted and move, and --  Blooey!
it’d all be over  --  and everything back to business as usual.

To be free is to never stand still.

There are no drugs that expand a man’s consciousness --
they all further restrict it, in that
they momentarily take men’s thoughts further away from themselves
than they normally are.

To be free is to stand perfectly still.

Ordinary thinking is rather round
while the thinking of the liberated has no particular shape.
”Papa, is that why I have become unable to internally recognize
one thing from another.”
     “There you go, bragging again.”

The closer comes thought to understanding a particular matter, the less does it think to speak of it.
  On The Cosmic Express: The addicted can only be cured by themselves;
no help possible; no help needed, no help sought.
  He flies fastest who flies alone;
all who know --  soar in solitude.
  Only when your inner skies are empty can you finally:
fly-like-you-dream.

           With eyes/I’s open  --  you are high ---  out of sight.

Most of the accidents that occur in your home are caused by your listening to the noise of traffic outside.
(Before mystics employed the term, “Being asleep” this condition was known as: “Being trapped in the house & going crazy.”)
Even when they would go into the yard to play,
one father would always say to his son:
“Remember:

keep your eye on the ball --  but only your OWN ball;
watching other people’s will make you strike out,
and forget to tag third.”

 ...... (Also, don't forget one of the dog's descriptions.)

The way to be sure that your personal understanding of things
remains of the quality of ox farts
is that you still believe other men would be better off
if they had it.
  (“Why you poor thing you.”)

A man who knows what is going on is his own hero;
a man who knows what is going on has no hero.

The dirty little secret, (of no interest to most), is that
anyone can be more clearly conscious at this very instant
merely by trying to be.
  (Don’t ever let on that you know this,
for doing so, [at the wrong moment],
can prove extremely mortifying!)

One man likes to hear what other people are thinking;
he says it cuts down on him having to do so.
  (“Honey, call that other reality & tell them I’m gonna be late.”)

There is one man who is wont to frequently refer to himself
in the third person,

this is, (says he),
because that is where he is often inclined to be.
 (In the early sixteenth century was reputedly a man who claimed he did not have a
“third person.”)

Ordinary men’s ordinary mental life is a bargain --
                           --  IF you are a neural tightwad.

The never-adequately-stated goal of the Neural Revolutionist
is to either:
stop thought while yet remaining conscious, or:
to be constantly conscious of having thoughts.

Son asked the father:
“How does it feel to be the only person in the world
who knows what is really going on?”
    “I have no idea what you are talking about --
                                       --  and neither do you.”

One guy liked to be referred to as: “Nobody’s fool!   ….well,
nobody’s in particular.”

When push comes to grunt:
humans don't really know what to make of words.

Today’s Household Hint:  Never get too personal with your father.

The seldom enunciated name of the absolutely best method that has ever been known to induce AWAKENING is: “What’s Not To Like?!”

                                                                      JJJJJJJ

"Remember this son," said he in closing:  "A life not spent wastefully,  is an opportunity squandered;
life doesn't cost you anything --  you got it free
--

now act like it!.................and don't forget about dachshunds not herding."

Sez one specialized dog handler:
"Over indulgence comes as easy to me as restraint does to others."

   (Badgers are only bagged by those not a'scart of diggin' deep --
that's where the real action is.)
