(You didn't know that there was news on Sunday?)

                                   _______________

The man told the head mechanic: “I often feel dazed & confused,”
and the expert, (after getting a look inside), replied:
”Well, no wonder!”

A reader immediately e-mailed to ask where he might
find such a mechanic –
then a few second later sent a follow up that said: “Never mind --
I probably already know where to find such a person
if I really wanted to…...........and quite close to home.”
(Yes sir: there is no place like home for the hollowdays.)

A certain taciturn man was asked what the speaker had talked about
at a lecture he’d recently attended:

”He talked about thinking.”
“What did he say about it.”
”He’s in favor of it.”

Many people want to study mountains,
but few, dirt cells.
(Which incidentally is why you only find books on:
”How To Enlarge Constructions Already Too Monstrous" --
instead of instructions for their abandonment.

Here’s How It Goes In The City:
The weaker you let yourself get --
the weaker you can’t help from getting.
(Those who say that justice only exists in the jungle,
don’t yet grasp urban life.)

Everyone is in a partnership: in a business relationship with themselves;
everyone has a silent partner, trouble is
you can’t tell which one he is,  from moment to moment.

A son asked his father: “If everything you can’t touch is simply an invention of man’s mind, does this apply to, Waking-up as well?”
and the elder replied: “Obviously, yes, but not so obviously, no,
in that, Waking-up causes you to understand what you just said.”

Without his glasses, one man could see little;
without his thoughts  --  he could see nothing.
Don’t let this happen to you;
have your hot water heater checked twice a year.

One industrial strength ole sore head says what he dreads most about being dead is that he will then for damn sure have to just:
“Lay there and take it!  --   with not even the illusion left of resisting!”
(Some do say that there is a down side to everything.)

Everyone who hears about there being a, “Great Secret”
not only loves the notion, but also loves the idea of there being someone, (even if it is not them), who knows it –
--  either that or they HATE the idea.
             (Which is your favorite?)

One man began many of his comments with the words:
“I hate to be critical”  –  then he’d stop --  laugh maniacally, and say:
“No I don’t!…”

“I’ll tell you what I think,” storms one guy,
“That Law of Gravity is the dumbest law they’ve ever passed!”

“Question: What is worse than --  living-in-a-daze?
Answer: Discovering that you do not have to --  and still doing so!”

“Is, ‘worse’ really the operative word here?”
“No, but it was the worst one I could think of.”

The Myth Of  Martyred Heroes, Updated:
It is, Consciousness that, “died for your sins”…..of course without consciousness in the first place, you’d have no sins --  BUT,
that’s another story for another day.

People who talk about themselves are dumb:
people who talk about how dumb they are
are twice as dumb.

“All pleasure is but skin deep,” said one man,
“And, thanks be to god,” muttered his skin.
     Question: Under different circumstances:
who would so speak for the man’s thoughts?

The nutritional problem with chowing down in dreamland is that
it’s ALL empty calories.
(But then there is the upside in that if someone steals your meal –
you haven’t lost anything.
[Routine brains don’t find comments like this funny.
Yeah, I know, as you always say:
“Fuck a brain that can’t take a joke!’
(but I notice you never say that in
your house)].)

Health Update:
One man said: “I feel much better since I stopped taking drugs.”

“Which drugs?” he was asked:
“The ones my thoughts used to lay on me,” he replied.
