                   NEWS: INSIDE AND OUT
                            ____________

Those who believe that their captivity is due to some identifiable,
specific cause are then liable to adopt a system of escape
based on tangible efforts and physical rituals --
which are irrelevant to the confinement that is actually
bothering the few.

Some ordinary wit long ago professed: “The significance of our lives is nine tenths in our behavior” --  he was indeed most ordinary, and speaking for those of a similar bent, (certainly not for the few.)
                 Animals behave --  real humans cogitate.

Anything the voices can propose for a man to think,
(due to the local laws of physics),
is from the outset, at least partially invalid.
All ordinary ideas survive only by stumbling about on two legs:
via two opposing views of the one idea.
Only a fully lit mind has views that are un splintered  --
                      --  they don’t waste their time on views.              (Phews!)

No matter how badly goes an ordinary man’s investigations of
non tangible affairs  --  naught is lost.
(Good to know, huh?!…….if you’re ordinary.)
  And the back up choir commenced to sing:
                                  “Nothing gained,
                                   nothing lost;
                                   what we seek,
                                   has no cost  --   in fact, just the opposite.
                                   Damn! --  we wish we could remember that!”

Prisoners have heroes who they believe have previously escaped – but, if those still confined find them admirable --  they never got away.
Fish do not look up to eagles, and worms want to hear no gossip
unless it involves dirt.
(This is why a man is a double knit idiot to listen to himself,
…you know: pay attention to dem-voices.)

There is a type of person who has a natural-born temperament to dislike anyone they think knows something that they want to know, but don’t;
they make up a certain sidelines group in the Waking Up Game.
   (They also never recognize themselves when
                                   reading about themselves.)

You can expect for people you dislike to dislike you in return,
but what men do not realize is that the same is true regarding ideas.

Ordinary men, (penned cattle), believe they display intelligence by saying there is no God;
that man is responsible for his own destiny,
and that he is making a botched job of it.

     This is what passes as deep insight with routine minds.

One guy says: “My overall level of irritation has decreased;
what primarily bothers me now is everyday life’s constant attempts to suck me in, (get me involved in all that routine crap).”

      A poem:             The Expense Involved

                     The best cost least, (little or nothing);
                          the worst  --   an arm & a mind.

To be ordinary is to rush toward the sound when you hear the shout: “Sale!” and find out what the merchandise is later…same as how an ordinary mind treats the voices.

As soon as an independent mind hears someone in the crowd count to two, he either stops listening,
or immediately jumps to three or more on his own.
  “That’s the only way you’ll ever get out of this place alive…..and sane.”

Who but a fessed-up, come-cleaned-man
will drive by an accident and not look?!
(Well, hey!   He never looks at himself  --
--  so it shouldn’t be surprising.)

Men become poets while they’re alive
 so they can whine about BEING alive.

Ordinarily it takes two or more people to create excitement;
this is why ideas must have a pro & con constituency to “come alive,”
to be exciting & interesting.
                  A steady-headed man can do it alone.

In honor of National Existence Day,
one man composed & sung this song:
                               “Some say life is what you make it,
                                 and some say life makes the man,
                                 some say fate is just a joy ride,
                                 and I say: ‘Make that to go’.”

“Okay, kid,” said the old man: “I’m gonna tell it to you agin;
it’s just this simple:
If it's something that you can't experience outside your mind
then you can’t know anything about it;
all you can do is make up new stuff about it  --  (hey,
everything that everybody else says they know -  they had to make up).

This is all the secret knowledge there is: the plain & simple fact that:
the world-of-ideas is the world-of-ideas, and nothing more;
refusing to face that fact is: being-asleep  --   living-in-a-dream.

For example: things have certainly happened,
but there still is no such thing as, History;

there are also no such things as ignorance, and non enlightenment;
the voices had to make them up to make themselves get up
out of bed every morning.

                                            Got it?!”

Humor in the hands of the ordinary is like a heat seeking missile –
with the humorist usually being the greatest source of heat.

To respond to that classic mortal inquiry-cum-complaint:
“Does this same particular joke always have to be on me?”
would be like trying to explain wet to water --
or convey to captive minds the reality of:
                      humor sans aggression or prejudice.

The true humor of life is known only to the non hypnotized,
and it is true  and funny only because it has no opposite –
...same as how the ideas of such men have no contrary --
   ...which is why the ideas are so difficult to hear
      above the noise of the dualistically fashioned voices.

In the private mental ballroom of the privileged few,
the controlling directive is:
not that it takes, “Two to tango,” but rather that it takes two to:
step-on-one-another  --  stumble-around  --  trip, and finally fall down.

(This is why you never see two awake people together at the same time.
Don’t believe it?  Go look in the mirror,
and if you think something along the lines of: “That’s me” --
                                   -- there is your proof.)

A mystic told a crowd: “After a life time of studying the matter,
(aside from the undeniable, extraordinary neural states themselves), the best I can make of our desire to wake-up is that
                          it is the brain’s idea of a joke.”

Although it can't be proved; there is  speculation that everybody wakes-up  right at the moment of death.
             "Jeeze!  That's a long time to wait."
                     "Yeah,  and  it doesn't sound very efficient."

                                                        The ordinary die many times  --    the knowing,  but once.

A boy axed his mother: "What is the trick to being a  --  mystical teacher?"
                                              "Making things sound even more complicated than people already thought they were  before meeting you."
