IT CERTAINLY IS SNUG IN HERE;
ARE YOU SURE THIS IS JUST A FORM FITTING JACKET?

The effects of confinement are
such that
whatever a mind can think of
as being unquestionably true,
it can just as easily think
of as being otherwise.
Thus the billion year old jailhouse dictum: “Trust
no one.”
* * *
In physical prisoners, alliances
are a matter of survival;
in mental ones -- of death.
* * *
Only the childless are experts
in parenting,
and none but sleepers, in the
matter of awakening.
When it comes to knowing-what-you-are-doing
in that special
area
only those who do-without-knowing
-- KNOW.
* * *
If there was such a thing as
a stable system for
achieving enlightenment, mark
well that it would have no,
(as mundane tongues call it),
“heart.”
The inherently weak seek weakness;
the few long to see --
to see a long way past faux fragility.
Those who say the injustices
of life make them,
”sick to spirit,” suffer rather,
a common mental malady --
so common in fact as to thus
far be undiagnosed.
Worms in all men dwell,
yet it is to other worms that
all worms pledge allegiance.
Only the rich, privileged &
cleaned-out
are not
strangers-in-their-own-hometown,
for only they recognize the
incorporation of themselves
into
themselves.
They are
their own hometowns.
Question:
Is he who exposes his own hoax, a hoaxer still?
Question:
What does that have to do with anything?
Answer:
Question number one was a decoy.
There are men who write odes
to what they have swallowed,
even those who will ode what’s
swallowed them,
but rare-to-unheard-of
is a man who pays homage to
both flag and fallopian tube.
Those here, want to be there,
and those there, here;
a man with both 3 eyes/I’s
-- opened wide ---
wants to be no
place you have ever heard of.
“But you don’t
know what places I’ve heard of,”
Doesn’t matter; if you’ve heard
of it -- he’s not interested in it.
“Conductor, can you help me with
boarding & un boarding this train?”
“Yes, as
long as it is not one of the two.”
A son said to his father:
”In days past, what you told
me made more ready sense;
are you changing your stories,
or am I getting hipper?”
“Ah
HAH!” he replied triumphantly.
* * *
Having confinement made to seem
a more
serious matter than it really
is
seems to make it more tolerable
for most.
“Suffer the little convicts
to come unto me,
and forever
shall they dwell in the house of
meaningless detention.”
* * *
Those captives who believe in
the idea of a collective “rescue”
must first assume that mass
destruction is on the way.
Only those still blinded by
their irrelevant captivity
fear for the future;
when you’re not going anywhere
and refuse to face up to it,
it will always feel as though
there is some place even WORSE to be.
“Pa pa, tell
me again, the benefits of being truthful with yourself.”
“There are none. How many times do I have to tell you!”
How much practice is required
to be inane enough to be impressed
with the fact that every morning,
right on time, the sun appears?
“I once met a most formidable
fellow; he could read minds.”
“That’s
nothing: I know a chap who can take one quick look at you,
and immediately forget all about
you.”
* * *
Entertaining thoughts you have
had before is like an escaped prisoner
asking to be let back in.
“But Professor, is
there no place for redundancy?”
“Ask me again later.”
(That’s surprising: we seldom
get stories from real mystical schools.)
* * *
There are two classes of pain:
that which your nervous system
silently relays as physical,
and that which verbally translates
as:
“Things should have gone otherwise.”
Tip:
If you truly enjoy suffering, just -- Open
your mouth.
Question:
Why, after all these trillions of years,
do men still find it easier
to say what is wrong with man
then to speak of his potential?
“Now open wide, and
say: ‘Shit!’ --
I mean, that’s
what you’re gonna do eventually anyway.”
No matter what it is,
an independent mind can always
find useful information
in
anything that men say about life.
“Hey, life may be sneaky,
but even it can’t hide from itself."
“Yeah!
All it does is pretend to be running an obvious con on itself,
using human thought as the medium.”
”Hey,
ease up.”
(By the by, for those of you,
long time ‘tween visits to church:
they have removed from hymn
books the song:
“There
Will Be No Soreheads In Heaven.”
[They had to relax standards
to compensate for a dwindling
population. But
at least now
a lot of your old friends will
be there……………..like YOU!
(“Now
that would freeze my peas!”)].)
* * *
Only inmates who are needlessly
desperate will turn to
externally produced drugs to relieve the
frustration of incarceration;
those hip to the trip always
rely on their own home grown.
Fact:
A man in prison, who knows what thinking is,
is not in the same position
as a man who is simply -- “in
prison.”
* * *
To be properly civilized you
must periodically feel embarrassed;
embarrassed about being civilized.
(And if you think that sounds
strange,
ask a hyena how he feels
over not being invited to the party at all!)
* * *
And we close today’s news with
this late breaking definition:
Ordinary
Thinking: The only form of captivity that is kept viable by
the continuing, generous support OF
the captives.
