LET
MY NEURONS GO!
___________________
Every reference you make to yourself
lends support to a non existent
structure --
-- the very one which
must go, via neglect,
if the site is to ever be cleared,
and fresh air let in.
If your fruit doesn’t ripen when you are young,
it will sour unbelievably in your later years.
* * *
Circus Mental News: Every elephant
knows one trick,
which he performs --
over and over and over.
* * *
Below the frontal lobe mezzanine,
man’s genes still carry the
silent message:
“Why try to escape when it is
not necessary?”
* * *
The least civilized have deities
who’re the toughest, the roughest,
and most verbose --
gods who’ll talk your arm off.
A man with no fears
has no ears.
* * *
As exercised in the general population,
man’s “critical facilities”
amount to little more than
prisoners choosing between Playboy
and Penthouse.
Unfairness
Update: Neurons can note hormonal flaws, but not vice versa.
(It is a hip liver that keeps its opinions to
itself.)
* * *
When you live in captivity,
everything seems to be sliding
down hill.
“Perhaps all prisons are built on a grade
-?!”
“Then I would give mine a D minus.”
“That’s
not very funny.”
“So report me to the warden.”
* * *
The institutional authorities
remind all prisoners:
“Within these walls, only partisan,
prejudicial,
and provincial thought is allowed.”
(Those who heed such warnings
seem to survive the longest
in here………if that is your aim.
”Ahh!” exclaimed one con:
“Safety thru captivity.
The wild beasts of the
jungle could learn a lesson from us.”
[You figure he‘s being serious,
or metaphorical?])
* * *
Even the ordinary suspect the
supreme shallowness of the so called, “metaphysical, human problems” --
-- which is why they endow
them with such solemnity.
Ordinary morons will treat a
relative who is even more moronic than they are with feigned seriousness,
so with how much less regard
for your feelings
would you expect your own thoughts
to treat you.
People who pay serious attention
to the image using their name,
who lives in the movie in their
head -- need no guards;
they lock the door of their
own cell behind them
every time they re-enter.
A calm prisoner
is a happy…well, a reasonably-complacent prisoner.
(Plus life doesn’t
have to clean up after him.)
“Well, Hey Dude! That’s for sure what I’M
after:
to have life appreciate my efforts on its behalf.”
* * *
The more detailed, and specific
are the escape plans,
the more certain you may be
that they came from
the collective prison mind.
Mobs don’t escape!
Mobs don’t want
to escape.
Few individual captives ever
realize this,
and stay instead, in part,
imprisoned by the suffocating
close proximity of pretend-escapees.
The
Supreme, Final, Ultimate & Paramount Cosmic Question:
(Forget all that: “What-happens-after-death”
kinda crap,
here’s the real
puzzler):
What does anything have to gain
by conning itself?
"Are
you referring to man, or to life -- operating thru
man?"
"Right!"
(P.S. He who knows that knows entirely too
much!)
Axiom
Update: Not only does:
“He travel fastest
who travels alone” --
-- ONLY those going
it alone
do that special traveling of
interest to the few.
* * *
The chances of those with strong
opinions,
and mental preferences ever
escaping
represent the kind of odds a
bookie’d die for.
Many a faithful, but broken heart
stands outside the prison walls,
futilely awaiting their love’s
appearance.
(That’s not true;
it’s just something out of the
prison’s creative writing magazine;
they seem to enjoy that sort
of thing.)
* * *
To a man who knows how to think,
and talk:
modifiers are like mufflers
on a hot street rod.
Say what you mean!
Think what you say! -- and --
get to the point!
More verbiage than is absolutely
necessary is like an
anesthetized condom pulled over
a previously aroused idea.
“I’m sorry, but I make it a
rule
to never sleep with anybody
as dumb as I am, …although;
since all of this is going on
only in my head,
what does that say about my
mental relationship with myself ?!”
* * *
Having a hero, a role model,
is:
Taking a step up higher
on an imaginary ladder.
”Yes, I too once admired someone;
then one day --
I came home unexpectedly in
the middle of the day and
dropped the mirror & broke
it!
So much for that!”
……(Yeah! Right! Don’t
you wish?!)
* * *
To
assure continued imprisonment --
be fragile, and troubled by current conditions.
* * *
Those things an independent
mind thinks about --
-- it eventually re-defines.
Place before a liberated
mirror,
a hollow image, and there!
You have got the complete
story of man’s captivity.
Now:
Let my neurons go!
Let my mind soar free;
free, finally from,
that sad illusion of “ME.”
