EVERY DAY IS JUST LIKE THE REST --
UNLESS YOUR NAME IS TUESDAY,
AND THIS IS THE WEEKEND........
........THEN YOU MAY HAVE A CHANCE.
_________
On one world, all creatures are
born with a compass;
in one species the compass ultimately
begins to speak;
this group reigns supreme,
they not only know-where-to-go,
but can talk about how
they know -- as they go.
An interesting aspect of this
is that they are incorrect
in what they say --
yet this has no detrimental
effect --
indeed, it appears to play a
major role in their
astounding success.
(Can you spell: “I don’t
understand that at all.”?)
In one galaxy, unruly words
are forced to
eat one another,
and according to their Postmaster,
the verbal population will soon
be wiped out entirely.
(Can you spell: “How do I
get there?”?)
In one land, vehicles with the
potential to run
will not do so without fuel,
but certain of them are so
specialized that
they must produce their own.
(Actually it’s more like, “make
up their own”
…if you catch the drift.
And by the way, can you spell:
“Help! I am trapped
in a blizzard,
and am white-blind,
and thus cannot find my way
out.”
and the always near by dog noted:
”The reason is that you keep
focusing on the snow,
and not your sight.”
Without a skier finally realize
this --
it is: “H.B.L.F.”
time on the slopes:
”He
Be Lost Forever.”)
One boy drew a coloring book,
and the figures came to life;
the figures in fact took over
his life.
One day his mother came in his
room, and found only
the coloring book that the lad
had drawn, and exclaimed: “Good heavens! My little boy is --
all grown up!”
Only on John Phillip Sousa planets
is almost anything that might
happen to you considered to be a sign of maturity.
Meanwhile: over in the Snicker’s
section;
only those still innately confused
about conditions
will proclaim themselves as
“knowledgeable;”
shall we all sing: “
’Tis a sad, sad place – where,
only the silent
seem not stupid.”
And one caring father told a
son:
”When you’re in your room --
always be quiet.”
and the boy puzzled to himself:
”But if I do
-- then how will I know I am there?!?”
The herd’s design is based on
perpetual questions;
cows who escape leave nothing
behind save
cheshire
grins of answers.
(P.s. no one actually draws
their own coloring book,
and no one knows who does --
and
only idiots, [sorry], normal
folks pretend they do.)
The thing about seeing the thing is that
the thing you use to look for it
directly interferes with your seeing it.
One man says: "I've decided that
worse than fiction is -- reference books --
'cause when you use them you
believe you
actually learned something."
What
happens to you in life has nothing to do with the way you
feel
about life --
-- the
way you feel does.
In the operational description
that drives all explorers:
“I am studying my mind.”
the key word is not, “mind”
, but, “my.”
…(well, that’s how it is ultimately;
how quickly you arrive at that
understanding
would appear to be up to you.)
Believing that there have been
people who were superhuman, or who had superhuman abilities,
(such as living without eating;
going without sleep,
holding their breath for days,
reviving the dead,
and so on), has kept more children
asleep than all the world’s lullabies.
It is not superhuman, but strictly
human
to wake up to what is going
on in human life;
what could be
more human.
(If you insist on a separate
category then think of those who do not
realize what is going on as being sub human --
[and don’t forget to include
yourself where appropriate].)
The
herd always thinks that anything that’s wrong is caused by outside circumstances;
the
herd never catches on to the fact that they ARE their circumstances.
Circumstances
always think that anything that’s
wrong
is caused by the herd.
Every
hundred years or so, an individual cow,
(or
circumstance), catches on.
One man complained of always
hearing a radio playing in another room;
he couldn’t ever seem to locate
the room;
when he’d go searching for it
-- and get close --
the radio would suddenly stop
playing, and he would
lose the only clue he had to
finding the room.
He never could get the radio
to stop playing --
-- except when he went
looking for it.
...(He never did get hip to
what was happenin'.)
What
you are has more effect on how you feel than does what you think.
What
you think merely reflects what you are.
What
you are does not know,
“what it is” –
only
thinking knows that...
...and
it has it wrong...
...it is thinking’s job to
have it wrong.
Guy
says: “The most hilarious words in all of human language are, ‘my
mind’,”
and
after rolling around on the ground for a while,
completely
overcome with laughter,
he
composed himself long enough to
look
up, and add:
”Actually,
it is just the one word -- ‘my'”
--
and
with that, he was back to his tumultuous
tumblin' & a' chortlin'.
