         LIFE REMAINS A VERB

What makes it apparently possible at all for men to conceive of the otherwise inconceivability of life in toto
is their measuring of it in mental chunks that
consciousness chips away from its unified entirety.
From this same operation originates his
mental confusion as to what life is about.

What makes men able to think about life
is also what causes them to
                    question their thinking about it.

This unique talent begins-with & depends-on
the ceaseless operation of consciousness, (a verb),
creating in itself the fiction of a more fixed,
and stable, “mind”, (a noun).
By this ploy consciousness can speak to itself
about itself in the third person,
and treat “mind” as a something that is more comparably solid, and as subject to alteration as any other “object.”
Thus, unwittingly does consciousness assume a kind of paternal verbal attitude toward, “the mind,”
even akin to that of a scientific researcher
toward a lab animal.
Establishing this fictional,
objectified counterpart of itself --  within itself,
makes possible all manner of things
physically beneficial,

but also has a specific intangible aspect that ultimately interferes with a direct understanding of what is
going on in life, and in consciousness,

(in case you happen to be one of the few,
really interested in such things.)

By consciousness conjuring up the illusion of the brain having this thing  --  the mind,
and by the mind’s subsequent cutting up of seamless
reality into these discreet other things  --  thoughts,
is man able to make relative, mental sense of life.
Also from this arises men’s conception of their true individuality consisting at core OF their thinking.
Consciousness further employs this
expedient illusion to make men believe that
what they think is dependent on their
state-of-mind --
rather than on --  how-they-feel,
(which is how it really is).

By identifying this new “thing,” (the mind),
as being responsible for the thoughts that
appear in it,
rather than their source being a non thing,
”thing,”  (feelings),
consciousness creates the picture of a situation that clearly seems subject to intervention.
Everyone agrees that thoughts can be changed,
while feelings cannot,
and while everyone accepts the fact that a man is rightly held responsible for what he thinks,
’tis not the same, regarding how he feels.
This is an abrupt & simplified telling of it,
but it is simple & obvious to see --  if you but want to.

By the mind’s fictional, cutting up of life
into mentally manageable chunks,
men are able to speak of their verbs-of-feelings,
disguising them as nouns-of-things,
men will denounce a certain religion,
and detail its doctorial dangers as though it were an
actual object, (like a furnace with frayed wiring),
when what is actually being displayed is
the speaker’s irritable feelings.

Consciousness is closer to the source than
its creation, the mind,
and is thus more aware that it is the body’s feelings that ultimately determines
not only what a man does, but also what he thinks,
and consciousness, (much more than mind),
cannot blind itself to how little, (to be charitable),
it can affect the feelings that arise down below it,
and upon which its very existence ultimately depends.
Simply: Consciousness,
(living right next door to the power plant),
knows from whence cometh its sustenance,

while mind,
(being a second-generation, creation of consciousness,

and further from the  actual source of energy),
can more easily harbor illusions otherwise.

Consciousness, (in essence), can lie to itself
via the medium of its imaginary playmate, “the mind;”
consciousness, acting as the ventriloquist to the
dummy-of-thought
can have the mind say that it has the capacity to
control, form and re-form its own operation;
the mind states, (with none to counter),
that it is the source of thoughts,
and if what a man thinks
is the primary identification of who-he-is,
then, (in the purest human sense),
the mind is --  what-a-man-is.

Conceiving of himself so is the norm for man,
but the norm for man is also to not understand man.
To be a sane, civilized and ordinary person
is to believe in your “mind” that
your mind is the source of the thoughts that
appear there, and that you have at least,
potential control there over,
and that, by and large,
a civilized, fully socialized, and intelligent man
is composed of: what he thinks,
and indeed to the contrary:
those who appear to live merely on the basis of
how they "feel"

are exemplars of being un-civilized,
unreflective of consequences,
and unfit for human companionship.

This world wide mental view that life imposes on man,
through his feelings,
into his consciousness,
and out his mind,
obscures the easily observable fact that,
how a man feels
determines the thoughts in his mind  --
regardless that the mind may forever say otherwise.

Only those who see this for themselves
can make use thereof.
It is no good as a theory,
not even as an accepted, “fact”;
facts are nouns  --   life is a verb;
the fact that: “the thoughts you have are determined by how you feel” is not a fact at all;
it is not a noun  --  its reality is a verb,
and this reality cannot be captured by the mind,
a creature that can only catch nouns.

Can you see it? --  do you catch on? --
the operational reality of the situation turns out to be:
a creature is created that can only snare
other creatures that it itself has created.

An imaginary storage area for imaginary goods.

Not only is life a verb,
so too is consciousness,
and consciousness is directly dependent,
(like everything else), on how you feel;
mind, on the other hand,
seems to be a noun,
and appears to be self-sustaining.
It is by man’s acceptance of this
inner-appearance-of-things
that the mind is able to work its magic,
and it is by failing to have a
clear understanding of this
that it is able to do its voo doo.

To be confused as to what life is about
is to listen to mind’s explanations of life;
if one did not listen to mind’s explanations of life
one would never think of life as
needing an explanation.

It all reveals and explains itself to a man who
wants to see it strongly enough to stop accepting what his mind is saying to him about it.
Don’t listen to the content of what your mind says;
instead --  nod your head,
pretend to be seriously listening,
but all the time be watching it carefully,
while asking yourself: The Eternal Mystical Question:

”WHY IS THIS SON OF A BITCH
         TELLING ME ALL THIS SHIT?!"

…(and  forever the answer is):

             LIFE IS A VERB.
